Why I'm Starting Another Blog
About a month ago I decided to give up Social Media with a friend for the summer. I have been really enjoying it, and I think I may keep up with it in the future. Since I won’t be posting on e.g. Twitter, Facebook etc, I still want a place to post updates about life, etc.
I won’t be posting development how-to’s or musings on Stoicism, this blog will just serve as a simple place to post updates about my life, and that’s it—an old school blog. I hope I can look back on this, hopefully at least posting once a month, and recap the year. I love the writing Chris Weigman does, and I miss having a way to look back at a year and my life and reflect. I always find people who keep more personal blogs really interesting. Hopefully this will become that for me. Hopefully this helps people keep up with me if I end up lightening my social media interactions. Hopefully I keep up with it. Seriously, this is yet another blog of many I’ve tried to start like this.
I also have a plan to maybe move all my “life update” blogs from the years here in the future (or at least reflect on them), but I have to hunt them down first…
It has a subscribe feature, that way friends can keep up with me without having to visit yet another blog I have created. Plus it’s simple…
That’s right, I’m 38. In two years I can finally play more Tennis in the 40 and over league! I’m honestly exited about my 40’s, for many of the people I look up to, their 40’s are the best years of their lives, and I’m hoping for the same!
But as for 38… it’s been an interesting year. More to come! Every year, on my birthday I think I’ll rename the title of my blog to my new age and write a recap of the year!
